Greater Chicago Bassmasters is a bass fishing club for friends who want to share knowledge, get out on the water and have fun! We are a club for anglers of all skill levels, whether you own a boat or not.

Started in 2015, Greater Chicago Bassmasters is a new club that was founded by friends who loved to fish and had spent years fishing with various clubs throughout Chicagoland. The group pulled together their favorite parts of the club experience to create Greater Chicago Bassmasters.

The club fishes six official tournaments each year and the Greater Chicago Bassmasters Classic. Top anglers from the club qualify for the 6 Man State Championship, which can put them on the road to fish the Bassmasters Classic.

Meetings are generally held at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. Meetings are open to anyone who wants to learn about the club and meet some of the guys.

We also proudly host youth conservation events to promote bass fishing and protection of the sport we love.

Greater Chicago Bassmasters is a proud member of B.A.S.S. and the Illinois B.A.S.S. Nation.
